I’m a third-year medical student at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. Alongside my studies, I started working in a neurology and psychiatry practice, which sparked and deepened my interest in neurology – particularly non-invasive neuroimaging techniques.
My doctoral research in Prof. Dr. Til Ole Bergmann’s research group focuses on the combined use of EEG-fMRI to investigate fear extinction memory consolidation. I hope to contribute to a better understanding of fear- and anxiety-related disorders, with the aim of supporting the development of therapeutic approaches.
