Stella Petković
I am a 3rd-year PhD student in Psychology and Social Neuroscience at Sapienza University of Rome. I obtained my BSc in Psychological Sciences and Techniques and my MSc in Neuroscience and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation at the University of Bologna.
My current research at AgliotiLAB focuses on non-invasive brain stimulation combined with neurophysiological recordings (EEG, EMG) and immersive virtual reality (IVR) to investigate performance monitoring and body representation. This includes studying cognitive conflict through phase-shifted tACS, embodiment-error monitoring interactions using TMS-EEG-IVR, and using EEG-IVR to explore how ownership and agency influence (im)moral behavior. Additionally, I am investigating agency and ownership alterations in individuals with Functional Movement Disorder (FMD) using IVR-EMG.
As a visiting PhD student in the Neurostimulation Group of Prof. Til Ole Bergmann, I will investigate TUS-induced effects on corticospinal excitability by combining TUS and TMS.
